ICS put a bad mark on my credit report. I called them about this and asked what this was about, because I had always had a good credit. They said it was about a check I had bounced in Illinois when I lived there 4 years ago, but the bounced check was from last year. I told them I had never had Bank of America when I lived in Illinois and that I wanted a copy of the bounced check, and evidence that they had tried to get ahold of me. Neither was produced.
