Over the last 30 years, I've purchased 4 homes-and have never missed a payment until now--NOT DUE TO ANYTHING I DID OR DIDN'T DO. READ ON: AND BEWARE: Due to a tax reporting error, SM drafted $400 more than my mortgage payment should be. This action sent my account, payments, etc. into a tailspin--ping ponging every which way--fees mounted. I disputed the amount which was eventually refunded to me, after my bank disputed the amount of their draft.
