I purchased Cyber Defender a couple of weeks ago to replace a out of date software. First they didn't give me my activation code and I had to call for support. The Techie at the other end proceeded to tell me that my computer was so riddled with spyware, viruses, malware, etc. that it was going to cost about $300 to fix it. Whatever. I insisted until he e-mailed me the activation code. I installed and activated then turned the computer off. During re-start, I hit F8 and entered windows in safe networking mode.
