Bought a single-family house in Houston and moved in in late April. First gas bill, for just 8 billing days, came to almost $150 for gas usage alone -- they said my daily gas CCF was in the double digits! (I just got my 2nd bill, for 31 days, and it was just $22.) Called to complain. They sent a guy to check the meter and he took a reading then left. Got a letter a week later saying my complaint was not valid. Sent them two letters with evidence to detail my complaint and they just ignored them. Called to complain again and they said too bad... read full review »
