When returning an item at Sams you usually have your reciept. When you don't they are instructed to tell you they can't look up the reciept but on the contrary they can. If you don't have your reciept be sure and ask for a manager. They can go to a area called a purchase history and pull up a reciept. It will show what you bought, when you bought it, and how much you paid for it. Sometimes a refund can depend on how long your are a customer too.
