Do Not deal with American General Financial Services. I had an emergency and was, for a short period of time, off of work and fell behind in my payments on a small loan with this company. They have initiated legal proceedings against me. To add salt to a wound they sent a representative out to my home to "collect" my past due payments from me. The "woman" left mail in my door, her business card and proceeded to walk around my property, looking in the windows and eventually trying a door, setting off the alarm.
