I had a credit card with Washington Mutual, JP Morgan Chase bought them out and never contacted me to let me know. I never got any bills from them. I made a payment to WaMu in may 08 and paid my payment. I never got another bill and wasnt aware of Chase taking over that company. a year and ahalf later I get calls from Scott & Brock, lawyers for Chase, telling me I owned them over 5000.00 in debt.
