My mother called me from the airport in San Francisco letting me know when she would arrive in St. Paul, MN. She asked the operator how much a collect call would be. The operator didn't know (like hell!). We spoke for about a minute. I accepted the call believing it would cost $2 - $5. When I got my Qwest bill, ZPDI charged me $29 and change for a 4 minute call.
