AT&T advertises that when you move you can keep your home phone number. Well that didn't happen by AT&T. When I bought my home, I wanted to keep my number since I had used it for several small businesses and all my business cards had it. I was told that because I am moving to a different hub that I could not bring my number...not even for a fee. AT&T U-verse

Late last year, AT&T workers started spending a lot of time at the box in my yard. Then they sent a company to start digging up my yard. When I asked what was going on, I was told by an AT&T representative, at my home that they would be placing a U-verse box in my yard. I was also informed that I would be compensated in one of two ways. Either they would provide me with services free of charge, or they would purchase the land (last purchase was $35k).
