We have had a mortgage with HSBC for 13 1/2 years. There are only 1 1/5 years left. We have NEVER been late on a payment. Yesterday, we received a "Notice of Intent to Foreclose" allegedly because we had not made the April and May payments. I checked with our bank and confirmed that April's payment CLEARED into the HSBC coffers. I called HSBC and, after waiting on hold for over 30 minutes, HSBC admitted they received the May payment.
