My husband and I were moving out of state and we were given a "binding" estimate. When the movers came to our house they said that it was not done by weight as we were told, but by cubic ft and we had exceeded the amount of the estimate. This difference resulted in a 50% upcharge from the original quote. The movers themselves were very nice and they packed everything quickly and carefully.
