We live in Minnesota. Sometimes we have a dry spring/summer, sometimes we don't (well this year 2010--we have a very WET rainy moist season) and we have a nice home and so we definitely needed a dehumidifier. Well, I purchased a Sears/Kenmore dehumidifier on June 1, 2007. I used it for June, July, Aug, Sept. (don't need it the rest of the year), then in 2008 I used it May, June, July, Aug. Sept.
