I purchased an advertised as new HP laptop for $459.00 as a graduation gift for my daughter and a few months later it completely died on her. I called HP and found out that it is a refurbished unit and that it only has a 90 day warranty. Called Buy.com to complain about thier deceptive practice and all I got for an answer was, "Sorry Sir it should have shown up on your bill as a refurbished computer." Since I did not look at my bill I am now screwed. I wish I would have come accross this website and seen the other complaints about Buy.com. I would have never purchased from them. read full review »
