I was told by the salesperson if I opened a charge card on that day I would get 20% off my purchase. After agreeing, she rang up my purchase she then told me I would have to wait seven to ten days to see if I was able to get a charge card, so no 20% discount. After leaving I called the main office to cancel the application as I felt I was mislead. The gentleman said he would cancel if so that I would not get a "bump" on my credit account.
