I had a bait and switch situation this week! I applied for a 0% 18 mo BT rate, followed by their 9.9% rate. Even though I have excellent credit, a good debt to balance ratio, good debt to income ratio, etc, I was STILL only offered 12mos 0%, and then followed by a 15.99% rate!!! Yes, 16% for someone with no credit or debt issues. Perhaps you need to make six figures and never use your credit cards to get that 9.9% rate. Or maybe, you aren't allowed to be disabled.
