A "Buy One, Get One Free" deal on Spirit Airlines' web site enticed me to buy a round-trip ticket to Fort Lauderdale from New York. Another promotion popped up on the web site as I booked; I applied that discount, bringing the cost of my ticket down more. Surprise! Spirit's informed me the "Buy One, Get One Free" deal no longer applies because of the second discount.
