My home insurance is with American Home Shield.. American Home Maintenance Told me that if I didn't have my heating & air checked every year that AHS would void my warranty. So the guy who came out pressured me into buying a 3yr contract with them for $499. Now for a year every time they came to inspect they gave me the same story...You need to replace your AC and we can do it for $8000. Yeah right. Never said anything about heater. I ordered a pair of boyfriend AG jeans @$229 back in '08. When ordering it said they were on backorder. That should have been my clue. I would call every week to check the status of my order and got the same bull answer they were on backorder at first and then the phone would just ring and ring or I would leave message with no return phone call. Months went by when I got fed up and called AMEX and even though it was past 3 months they were able to get my $229 back on my card. Always use AMEX for on-line purchases.
