While installing Directv, a tech broke a brand new HP touchsmart computer. I filed the claim and it was declined because the tech denied dropping the computer and I did not personally see him do it although I heard the crash. A representative from the office of the president called to say the fault did not rest with Directv because it was not them but their insurance company that denied the claim. Although it was their tech installing their product that caused the damage, they say they are not liable. Is that accurate? Can you recommend a course of action? read full review »
