6 years ago I purchased a watch a a lifetime battery replacement. Since then about once a year the battery goes dead and they have replaced it. Last year I went to the Kay Jewelers in the Middletown NY Mall Galleria. The rude male sales person said he wasn't going to take the watch apart once he saw that it was for free. The other sales person said she would do it and replaced the battery.
