We purchased the Listen Up listening enhancement device for an older brother recently. He's having trouble hearing more and more with age but refuses to invest in a pricey hearing aid. We hoped this would be the answer to our prayers. However, the listen up device might be OK if you're ALONE in the room watching TV but NOT when there are others present.
