Bought a front loading Kenmore 3 years ago. Have 9 months left on extended warranty. Washer not working, so called Repair center. Took one week for them to get out to look at it. Repairman said when the pump came in the mail he could come to fix it because he lived in the same town as us. Part came in, called him, no answer. Made an appointment to repair, another week goes by. He came put on the pump, turned it on, worked so he left. He didn't do a diagnostic test and I had said that I thought it was the computer.
