I purchased a Sony KDL 52XBR4 after 2 yrs the LCD panels went bad. I contacted Sony support i was told it was outside of the 18 month warranty for TVs with a bad LCD panel. The problem i have with this is Sony never contacted me or notified me that i had purchased a TV that could have a bad LCD panel. Sony knew this TV could have a bad LCD panel never notified or recall this TV. Sony offered me an TV for a discount or repair it myself. Sony is holding me responsible to fix my TV when they knew it could have a bad LCD panel. Even knowing they never contacted me to let me know of this problem read full review »
