I have been receiving telemarketing phone calls on my cell since cancelling my free trial order with XM Brands. Through reverse look-ups and research on the internet I've learned that most people who have received phone calls have also commented that they've ordered either teeth whiteners, diet supplements, acai berry etc for a free trial and have also cancelled their orders. Devine retribution does exist! I read an article on aol that the owner of Impulse marketing, aka Bromacleanse, Nick Congleton was wrongly arrested for opening several phony bank accounts in NY. Apparently someone stole his identity, produced phoney passports and opened several bank accounts in his name and stole THOUSANDS!! The real Nick Congleton was arrested, thrown in jail, and friends had to post bond for his release. He now has to work with the FBI to clear his name and regain his identity...ha ha ha! Their Customer Service Center is just a recording that announces that your requests for cancellation will be processed in 5-7 days. Its been about 2 weeks and I still have not received any call confirming that my requests have been processed and completed. Here is what I did for some peace of mind. I printed their "Terms and Conditions" and read it carefully. Acai Max Cleanse is part of the XM Brands company. They make their money by their "negative options" package. What does this mean? It means that by just submitting an order you have automatically agreed to the monthly debit from your credit card for this product even though you have not actually registered for any membership or subscription. It is stated in their "Terms and Conditions." Most consumers do not read the terms and conditions before submitting an order.
