Welchol
Paula Anspach July 8, 2010
My doctor prescribed Wechol powder packets as an alternative Cholesterol lowering drug and the doctor faxed it into Medco. The prescription arrived in today's mail- $472.73 for a 90 day supply charged to our account. The Welchol tablets are 78.79, had I known the cost difference I would have not had the script filled or gone for the tables. Medco advised their minimum for notifiing a customer is $500.00, way too high in this economy. From now on I will go face to face with my pharmacy rather than the mail-in method. Cost of medication is outragious and Medco is not customer friendly. read full review »
