I opened a Chase checking account for no purpose other than it was convenient to where I worked. While still in the process of opening it, I made sure to ask if there were fees to make account transfers, and how quickly on average their online banking was updated. I was told there were zero fees for account transfers, and that the online banking updates instantly. Regardless of that, I chose to keep my own written records, just in case.
