I received a late charge notice from Fifth Third Bank today. I called customer service and was told it was an error, and that I would not be charged. I ask to speak to a supervisor, Stephanie, and ask that a letter be sent to me stating that the charge was an error on the part of the bank and that no fee would be charged. I was told that this was not something they could generate. A bank that cannot write a letter scares me more than a little.
