We have had them place the flood insurance on our property as they were cheaper and they allowed us to pay monthly which was easier than a yearly sum to come up with. Originally this was Option One Mortgage Co. but they changed to the AHMSI, and last Dec. they decided that they were going to charge us for the "2 years" of flood insurance in one year, thus almost doubling our payments.
