Natioanl Auto carried our loan...murderous rate, but we had to do it anyways. Finally was able to trade our car in. The dealer sent the check...and it took nearly 2 weeks for the check to post. It ONLY posted after I called and reamed them out, calling their bluff about not posting our payoff check so it could accrue more interest daily. By the time the check WAS posted (20 minutes after my phone call), the 10-day payoff amount expired...and there is STILL a balance. AND...they divided the payoff check.
