Savings accounts are child friendly until you turn 18!!! Be forewarned!!! If your child gets a savings account at IBC Bank, everything will be fine until they turn 18. At that time, if there is less than $500 in the savings account, the bank will charge a $3 service fee PER MONTH. I asked if any notice was sent out.
