I have had the IUD mirena since 9-5-07. Things ere going well until I started having serious pain in my groin area. I constantly had a feeling of pressure and my left and right side hurt, pretty much all the time. I started hurting so bad I went to the emergency room. They told me because of my IUD, they could not examine me because of the liability issues. So they gave me Tylenol 3 with codeine and sent me home. Then I went to my doctor.
