I purchased a Lexmark X6575 and when I ran out of ink purchased a remanufactured ink cartridge from a company I have trusted for years. There is nothing wrong with the reman cartridge, but the printer will not show me what my ink levels are. When I contacted customer service at Lexmark I was told that the only way I can have total functionality of my printer is to purchase their new ink cartridges from them, if not I will continually get a message on my computer that I am not using a genuine Lexmark ink cartridge.
