My husband and I attended a discount travel promotion presentation on a Saturday morning in early May 2010, held in the Georgetown district of Washington DC. A slick presentation, during which the presenter put us on the spot for already owning a timeshare in Hawai'i (which we bought as a resale on EBay for a greatly discounted price and without closing costs, we have used it for several years without a problem and it is right on the beach in Waikiki).
