I am surprised that, with the many, many complaints against them, The Rickenbacker Group has not been sued out of business. I too sold a car which was towed some 5 months later & Rickenbacker picked up the collection from the towing company. I have proven to them that this is not my debt & Rickenbacker has sent me a letter confirming their agreement. The letter promises to immediately notify the three credit bureaus to remove this from my reports. Some 6 months later it is still on my credit report!
