On 03/12/2007 I dropped my car off at Desert Toyota for a transmission problem. Later that day the service tech (Kyle) called me to let me know that the transmission did indeed have a problem. Luck would have it that I had an extended warranty on the vehicle, however, according to Kyle my warranty company Phoenix American would not cover a new transmission, but instead required my transmission be re-built.
