On 6/7/10 I ordered a replacement thermostat for my Charbroil electric Patio Grill. I used it about 3 times and last night it just stopped. I called customer service and was told that when I ordered the thermostat I had to also order a replacement heating element or it would short the thermostat out--which it did. They said they had known about this issue from '09 but it was not noted anywhere on their web site when ordering the part.
