I was declined credit due to derogatory info on credit report. My score is usually in low 700's, so this was a surprise, this and I am a very responsible payer and have no history of derog. info. Anyway I immediately checked the credit report and sure enough there was a "potentially negative" remark from NCS (National credit solutions) the amount was simply put on to my report without my ever having received a bill or phone call about the monies allegedly due.
