On 19th June 2010, whilst on holiday in Chicago we went to Prudential Gem and Jewelry and purchased 2 x 14 carat gold identity bracelets, one for a male, and one for a female. The one for the gentleman was fine, but the one for the lady started to go black. We had left Chicago on a bus tour so was unable to go back to the jeweller concerned. On our arrival home we took it to our jeweller here in Australia and we have been informed that the bracelet in fact is bronze, not gold.
