For those of you who pay your bills online and perhaps pay a couple of days late read closely : The permanent General insurance company "accrues" the number of times your late WILL report it to the DMV of your state as lapse of coverage. For example, If your bill was due 03/30 and you paid it on 04/01 that would be 1 day late. Then it will accrue for every month that you do this.
