I went to Walmart to cash my unemployment check - which is a month overdue. I wanted to be able to pay some of my bills, and buy food. If I waited for my bank - I wouldn't have the money available until Tuesday. I was told they could not cash my check, to call Certegy for an explaination. I called and was told yes my State of California check was good, as was my ID, and SSN. Certegy could not tell me what the problem was. What a rip-off. From what I read Wal-mart just started using this company a week ago.
