LAFitness is a ripoff. Due to personal constraints, I was unable to take the training lessons for which I had contracted for, but I was still required to pay a full year's fee for the training sessions. I accepted this decision because afterall, I had signed on the dotted line. However, when I was told by Alicia the representative for membership, that I did not contact them before a 6 day grace period for cancellation, they were going to still charge me for another month, I was furious at the company's audacity.
