I was also just screwed out of a $1, 500 approved claim by Great Lakes last week. The broker who sold me the policy said that Great Lakes purchased surety bonds in at least 2 states from Travelers Insurance. I contacted Travelers, and was informed that they in fact bonded Great Lakes in PA, SC, NV & AZ. They told me that I have to have resided in one of those states when I purchased the policy to be covered. I don't. Screwed again! Anyone in those 4 states - CALL Travelers!
