I had the worst experience ever when renting a car last night. Diamond Leasing decided that they should charge for full rental of car + deposit almost equal to the full rental upon collection of car. When I said that that should not be the procedure and I had no problem if they "held" the deposit but not charge it, the person went ballistic on me.
