Purchased Maytag dishwasher model MDB7601AWQ 1/04/06. The $300 control sensor panel was replaced under warranty 5/3/07. The second sensor board failed 12/01/08. This time after lengthy negotiation Maytag agreed to cover the $300 cost of the board and only part of the cost of service. The third sensor board failed 8/04/10. This time Maytag would not cover any of the $159 service charge. Furthermore Maytag consistently denies that the sensor board is a defective product.
