While reviewing my online checking account activity today, I came across a mysterious electronic check in the amount of $49.99. Upon further investigation, I found that this check (which was unauthorized and of which I had no prior knowledge) was made out to Select Platinum Credit. I called the phone number printed on the check, and was met with a recorded message, with no option to speak to a live representative, or leave a message or request for call-back.
