I signed up for a home modification to avoid foreclosure and take care of a past due balance. I was "approved" for the plan and sent modification paperwork to sign and return. I made my new payments as prescribed in the modification agreement, and was told it would take a few weeks to update my account. After 5 months, 13 phone calls dealing with 4 different departments, and assurances that everything was in order, I found out they cancelled my modification without notifying me.
