In January of 2010 I paid Sears over $500 to repair a Kenmore Elite Electric range. It is already failed in the same manner as it did before. Before I authorized repairs, I asked the technician if it would be worth the money or should I replace it (originally purchased in 2001). He indicated it would be as good as new with the new mother board replaced. Well, good as new lasted 7 months.
