I did my application online for food stamps and cash assistance (in FL) and waited the 30 days that your supposed to to hear something. Well about a week before the 30 days were up I called for 3 days straight and waited on the phone for over 30 minutes each time, for them to tell me that the 30 days were not up yet and that I just had to wait.
