After 6 years, I'm stil being hounded by the companies above collection company for bogus damage fees. I have tried to speak to numerous people and even sent them proof that the charges are not valid, but they ignore the documents. They stated they only want to speak to me if I'm paying the bill and nothing else. Please help! This is affecting my credit immensely and cannot move until this is cleared up.
