We spent $17, 000 (NOT including railing) on our deck only 4 yrs ago. We have had a constant mold problem. We made the heavy investment believing the company's claim of worry free outdoor living. This has been a maintainance nightmare!The bleach based cleaners Trex recommends are harsh, and the actual cleaning of the deck is backbreaking. The mold spots are horrible.
