I was making a credit history inquiry in Jan 2011 when I noticed a negative item on my credit history report. On my BofA credit card acct, it had labeled as closed. I knew my acct had not been closed since I had received bank statements for Dec. 2010, Jan-April 2011. I had made my last payment on my acct back in July to a $0 balance. However, what I didn't know was there had been a residual finance charge that became my acct balance ($<$15).
